He was born April 5, 2007… at first my family was wondering what he would look like when he reaches 5 months. We never thought that he would turn to be a very cute little boy. He was the first APO in our family that’s why we are all excited… I’m very proud of my pamangkin!!

“Freedom to fight for what we believe is right”

Angeles University Foundation, a place where we owe our knowledge from. Is it true that we have our freedom here? Freedom to express what we think is right and just. Freedom to fight for what we believe is right. Freedom to be what we suppose to be.

What does freedom means? Does it mean that we can do everything and anything we want? Here at AUF most students stand for what they believe in. But how can we truly say we have academic freedom? Is it enough to publish something that we think can open up the minds of those who lack knowledge?

For those who are deprived in knowing what is really happening and why does it happen? For me, it’s not an absolute answer. We may think that by having conversation with the good and best and being on the position to speak is having freedom but does this entails true freedom?

Come to think about it, do we really have the chance to read the articles of the people who want to give their opinions on what is really happening here in our campus? Do we really have the right to give out our comments and suggestions to what we think can help us be mold into a better individual? Can we really give comments and publish it without being tagged as someone who opposes the administration? Can we really publish all the articles we have in mind without being banned?

I lay the answers to you my friend, it’s up to you to answer all these and to think if we have the academic freedom in our environment. I don’t want to argue. I don’t want to be tagged as subversive. I don’t wan t to deprive people with information. I just want to be opening minded and say all things in my mind. And at the end of the day I still want to believe that we do have what we call “academic freedom”. So come on let’s sit by the bench and have this small chit chat.

It was really a great day for us mascom students having a speaker from the medicine. For me I really did enjoy listening to the speaker. Sher is Mrs. Michelle Valdevieso. She is really an effective speaker. she got our attention. Even though the classroom is not well prepared still she made that day a great day for us.

Now i knew that blood type are not just A, B, AB and O we also have RH it can be positive or negative. having this blood type is crucial to woman.

i really did enjoy listening to all the information that she had told us . The talk was really informative on.

stop!!!

this past few days i would say that i'am really em bother to something that i really don't expect to happened again. Why? Cause this scenario did happened to me once. and it was Christmas eve and I thought that it would be the first and the last. I really don't know why some people kept bothering me. i don't remember that i did something wrong to someone. Yet that scenario have been repeated.

You know who you are.... I just wanna let you know that i dont like what you are doing! I know to my self that i didn't do anything wrong against you.So you better stop! CAuse it's not funny anymore. You've started this mess and you have to learn from it... You have to suffer the consequences of your action.

Could you stop pissing me off cause it really do annoys me and guess what KARMA's on its way.....

It was a great experience to attend an informal discussion about campus journalism. In there, we as a student knew that writing in a school paper is hard as you were writing for the public. Melford the organizer of the event had invited the editor’s- in -chief of each colleges. (CBA, CAS, CON, CED, COE and CAMP) he even invited the advisor of the PIONEER.

I really did have fun hearing the sentiments of the editor-in-chief of CED because he had no pretensions. He says what he wants to say. He even share that, they were only two of them who were really working for there paper. And they have only two colors to use.

As I was hearing all there sentiments, I have knew that working in a school paper, you should follow what the higher people’s decisions or there college officials,
In short working in a school paper is not really fun, because you have to obey or publish what the school administration wants.

You don’t even have this freedom of expressions! You can’t even write what you see and observe within the school…… :-(
