He was born April 5, 2007… at first my family was wondering what he would look like when he reaches 5 months. We never thought that he would turn to be a very cute little boy. He was the first APO in our family that’s why we are all excited… I’m very proud of my pamangkin!!

“Freedom to fight for what we believe is right”

Angeles University Foundation, a place where we owe our knowledge from. Is it true that we have our freedom here? Freedom to express what we think is right and just. Freedom to fight for what we believe is right. Freedom to be what we suppose to be.

What does freedom means? Does it mean that we can do everything and anything we want? Here at AUF most students stand for what they believe in. But how can we truly say we have academic freedom? Is it enough to publish something that we think can open up the minds of those who lack knowledge?

For those who are deprived in knowing what is really happening and why does it happen? For me, it’s not an absolute answer. We may think that by having conversation with the good and best and being on the position to speak is having freedom but does this entails true freedom?

Come to think about it, do we really have the chance to read the articles of the people who want to give their opinions on what is really happening here in our campus? Do we really have the right to give out our comments and suggestions to what we think can help us be mold into a better individual? Can we really give comments and publish it without being tagged as someone who opposes the administration? Can we really publish all the articles we have in mind without being banned?

I lay the answers to you my friend, it’s up to you to answer all these and to think if we have the academic freedom in our environment. I don’t want to argue. I don’t want to be tagged as subversive. I don’t wan t to deprive people with information. I just want to be opening minded and say all things in my mind. And at the end of the day I still want to believe that we do have what we call “academic freedom”. So come on let’s sit by the bench and have this small chit chat.

It was really a great day for us mascom students having a speaker from the medicine. For me I really did enjoy listening to the speaker. Sher is Mrs. Michelle Valdevieso. She is really an effective speaker. she got our attention. Even though the classroom is not well prepared still she made that day a great day for us.

Now i knew that blood type are not just A, B, AB and O we also have RH it can be positive or negative. having this blood type is crucial to woman.

i really did enjoy listening to all the information that she had told us . The talk was really informative on.

stop!!!

this past few days i would say that i'am really em bother to something that i really don't expect to happened again. Why? Cause this scenario did happened to me once. and it was Christmas eve and I thought that it would be the first and the last. I really don't know why some people kept bothering me. i don't remember that i did something wrong to someone. Yet that scenario have been repeated.

You know who you are.... I just wanna let you know that i dont like what you are doing! I know to my self that i didn't do anything wrong against you.So you better stop! CAuse it's not funny anymore. You've started this mess and you have to learn from it... You have to suffer the consequences of your action.

Could you stop pissing me off cause it really do annoys me and guess what KARMA's on its way.....

It was a great experience to attend an informal discussion about campus journalism. In there, we as a student knew that writing in a school paper is hard as you were writing for the public. Melford the organizer of the event had invited the editor’s- in -chief of each colleges. (CBA, CAS, CON, CED, COE and CAMP) he even invited the advisor of the PIONEER.

I really did have fun hearing the sentiments of the editor-in-chief of CED because he had no pretensions. He says what he wants to say. He even share that, they were only two of them who were really working for there paper. And they have only two colors to use.

As I was hearing all there sentiments, I have knew that working in a school paper, you should follow what the higher people’s decisions or there college officials,
In short working in a school paper is not really fun, because you have to obey or publish what the school administration wants.

You don’t even have this freedom of expressions! You can’t even write what you see and observe within the school…… :-(

it was really a hot afternoon when we went to the conventional hall in the City of San Fernando and i would say that there are really a lot of people there. At first we thought that we would not be able to go inside because it was really crowded. I noticed there are a lot of barangay officials in there.
I have seen our President Arroyo, the vice pres. Noli de castro and the Unity team. The running senators have their own speech. of course they have this promises to do that and assure that..... We do all know that when the election comes the candidates would promise this and that but not all of that will be done!!!
Hope that people would chose the best for our country. The one who could really help people who are in need! and to be able to help our country to be successful. People who are not corrupt!

LOVE OR PRIDE?!?

wE DO ALL KNOW THAT WE LOVE AND WE HAVE PRIDE. but sometimes when you love more and deep the tendency is you lose your pride which sometimes make a person "martir", vis versa when you chose pride you lose the love.

The big question is "What is important LOVE or PRIDE?

Why can't just we take it fairly we love at the same time we do have pride....

I have a close friend who told me that: WHEN YOU LOVE A PERSON YOU SHOULD NOT GIVE THE 100% OF YOUR LOVE, YOU SHOULD LeaVE SOME FOR YOURSELF. I ask her why, and she told me that when you love someone its like loving yourself, before you can love anyone you should learn first to love yourself.

cHaNgEs ThRoUgH eXpErIeNcE

I have noticed that nowadays teenagers of these generations have been so liberated. Some of them have been influence by drugs, alcoholic drinks and cigarettes also they are fun in night life.
I can't imagine what would be the next generation? Will they be worst than this?
I have known that 75% of teenagers do engage in pre-marital sex, which I think should not be practiced. What happened to the importance of marriage? Pre-marital sex can lead to an early pregnancy and can make them to be a young parent without knowledge on how would they take care of their own children. Being a parent is not a joke! Yeeh right how would I know I’m not yet a parent, but I can see it to the young parents in the mall.
I’m not washing my hands that I didn't done things like this. I admit that I have some mischief before. Maybe because of the influence of my friends. Yes Friends is really a big influence in you as a person. Because of the Filipino’s popular word "pakikisama". But in spite if what I have done, still I didn't excide beyond my limitation. Yes I’m talking about sex! For me Pre-marital sex is really a big NO! NO to me. Although people would say that I am "maarte", I’m still an old fashion girl that believes that marriage is really important before doing things like that. I’m not against the teenagers who became early parents at least they have take the consequence to what have they done. Unlike to some teenagers they used abortions to solve their problems which made them really evil because they have done a mistake once and they will repeat it by means of abortion. You can’t solve a problem by making one again.
I would say I’m not a perfect girl nor a very nice girl, I’m just the typical girl that if you don’t want me I wont even bother to please you. But if you would know me I’m a sweet girl.
I would say that poarents do give advices so that we would be on the right path. But just like any other teenagers like us, we want to experience it and leran it in the hand way.
DESTINY IS NOT A MATTER OF LUCk , its a matter of choice

I am proud to say that i am a abmc3 student!!!! we're the best!!!! we do really have unity, love and trust to each other that all our production is successfully produced!!!!! even though many people do have negative impression with us.. i can say that they are wrong. All of us are hard working students and we can prove it with our productions.
i think they should know us first before they give bad impressions about us!!!

This movie really made me cry. this movie was intitled "WindStruck" it is a korean production. the story is really good. i really did had a great time watching it. I can say that this movie was one of the best korean movie that i have watch.

vJ HuNt

vJ hUnT 2007 of abmc3

I am very proud with our production and with my classmates. The vJ hUnT 2007 is really successful! The experience is really good, that you can hear people reaction that our production is really good. Our teacher had told us that it was the best vj hunt ever produce.
I can say that all efforts are worth giving!!! And I m really proud that I am a ABMC3!!!! It was not easy to produce such production like this but because of our love, trust to one another and the unity we have we had produce a very successful vj hunt!

The experience is really good that we had gone to schools and meet their officials. As I recall gean and I went to one school and it keep us wait for 4 hours that we get nothing. L But still abmc3 didn’t lose hope.

It was really fun that we had met different people. And for me it was worth remembering!!!!!

what is a online newspaper? an online newspaper is where you can read news using your internet. What is a broadsheet?In printing a broadsheet is a sheet of paper that is 17 x 22 inches. A broadsheet also refers to any type of large flier or advertisement. A broadsheet size publication is one with a finished size (no matter what size of paper is used) of a broadsheet. both do have advertising.

i have knew that online newspapers do not allow readers to thumb through and physically relate to the organization of the online publication, readers must organize and prioritize their news mentally. Those unfamiliar with the practice and design of the online newspaper might not realize that the spotted owl story was on the front page of the online newspaper but not the front page of the print paper. Inversely, many stories deemed important enough to run on the front page of the print edition are not deemed timely or important enough to run on the front of the paper's Web site.

for me online newspaper is more useful than the broadsheet, because even if youre out of the country you still can get some information or updated news in your country.:-)

i dont believe that all aligation against first gentlemen Mike Arroyo is true. Lets take it fair. We all know that not all aligations against him is proven. Im not a pro nor anti Gloria. It's just my opinion.So why waste our time for that' if people until now can't prove that. :-0

one of the aligation against him is that he is corrupt. i have read on a online newspaper that he will be leaving for her wife tyo be not pressured in such alligations against him.

i have knew that Arroyo's husband Mike, a lawyer is a prominent family, has been portrayed as an influence-peddler, working behind the scenes under the president's protection.
